LOL @ Knicks doing so bad. I remember last season how knicks fans were raving about how much better they were than the magic.

Heat only have 9 wins..seattle has 13 and is in the west..... Mini with 10 in the west. Memphis with 13.

i remember 5 games into this season when we played in NY and the fans we're saying how much better they were than the Magic and how most of our guys are scrubs, and there was a flame war on both boards and a poll posted asking if Hedo was a scrub or not...who knew...

they actually are polling as to whether the Magic would give up Hedo for Randolph on the KNicks board, i knew Knick fans were clueless but man i had no idea.

im fairly sure that the Magic have a strict no hand gun rule in the locker room, so Zach wouldn't work out here...

meh, he looks fatter than he really is, kind of like Cookie...the only real issue with him is that he doesn't stay in shape during the off season...he has serious commitment issues...

i think they end up putting JJ and Carlos in a package to a team that has a frustrated big guy that wants out. now which team i have no idea.

I admit I am guilty of this as well. When NY got Zack, I wet in my pants thinking him and Eddy would potentialy form the best front court in NBA. I still cant figure out why they are not. I mean on paper Zack is a 20/10 guy and Eddy 12/10. Is it something IT is or isnt doing ?

Anyways Im glad they proved me wrong.

I remember during the preseason, the first meeting between the Celtics and the Knicks. It was a physical affair, and there were a lot of Knicks fans who were predicting the two teams would form a rivalry during the regular season.

I expected to the Knicks to be better than last season, but still not good enough to snag a playoff spot. I was half right.

Because it's not fantasy basketball! That's my take on the whole thing. The problem w/the Randolph/Curry situation is that both players need the ball in their hands to do what they do. Neither guy is very strong defensively either. This is compounded by the fact that their defensive effort is tied to their offensive touches. A combination of those three things can't POSSIBLY allow the Knicks to play both players on the court at the same time. Both players need a complementary big man on the court w/them (someone like David Lee) to be effective...

JJ,Garrity, and pick for Udonis Haslem. they were talking about this in another thread i think it was on hoopshype aswell. This is the best case senario for the magic, haslem can rebond and hit the 15 ft open Jay. As long as we dont take blount and his bloated contract it will be a win for us. We cant draft neways so id rather throw them the pick then take blount.

We could laugh at Miami this year, but they already unloaded Shaq, and his contract, Marion is on the final year of his contract too, which mean, they will have a ton of cap space, if they so desire not to keep him, plus a top 3 draft pick,

They already are on their way back to recovery.

I wish the Knicks would go on a 4 game winning streak.

Then, Dolan, likely gives Thomas another extension.

Eddy is not a 12/10 guy. That implies that he grabs 10 rebounds a game. In my dreams maybe. He's more like a 16/5 guy...and he's not even scoring as well as that this year.

The Zach/Eddy combo has been a complete mess, and one of the many, many reasons Isiah should have been fired already. Like some of you said, they both would benefit by having a complimentary big man next to them. Someone who can play defense. On the right team with a coach who knows what he's doing, and balanced players around them....both of these guys can be extremely useful.

Last year, without Zach taking away his touches and confidence, Eddy was an offensive beast and his contract is relatively cheap. I'm sure there's a few teams who can put him to good use. Zach has a much larger contract, but he's got a smooth jumper, he's nasty on the boards, and much more of a competitor than Eddy will ever be. When he wants to be, he's a pretty good passer too. He's also not nearly the thug that people make him out to be. It's a shame that being on the Knicks has killed his trade value so much, because we're most likely stuck with that contract for a while now. :-?

exactly, they were the better team hands down, already a lock for the play offs, we are just a pretender, and they would dominate us...well a few months later we are looking good and the knicks have won a hand full of games..
