The Van Gundy rant will propel us to the championship.

I can feel it. Howard is pissed off right now. In the next game he's going to say '**** it' and put 40/49/2. He will then throw the game ball at Van Gundy's face just like that one kid that was inbounding the ball in the college game. This upcoming game will lead us to an undefeated streak.

Unfortunately I think its going to get worse before it gets better. The only thing that fixes this problem is the rest of the team stepping up and helping out with some D.

Good luck with that SVG.

I agree that the Magic are going to go on a huge streak. Stan has a point. When the Magic were 16-4, we had the 2nd best defensive efficiency in the league and it was mostly because of Dwight. It wasn't a fluke. If the Magic can start doing that again and add just one more piece with Dwight, Turkoglu, and Rashard, we can win this year.

orlando doesn't have the players to win a championship. they need to make a move(s) ( andre miller and reggie evans). they might not even win a series, with their roster right now, depending on the match up.

This is clearly why SVG must be behind bars.

I certainly hope you're right. You would think Dwight would want to come out and prove SVG wrong, but I won't be happy unless I see him doing it.

Championship? Championship? With the way we've been playing, we will be lucky to even win the Southeast Division. I am still waiting for Otis' creative financing.

I can't believe ESPN has been talking about this so much. Should be interesting to see how the team responds.

I can easily believe it. ESPN loves it when teams might be falling apart under pressure.

I think they'll be disappointed in this case though.

Dwight will respond with 20 boards and five blocks tomorrow.

The discussion on ESPN was just there to stir things up.

Its all sensationalism to get ratings.

From today's O-Sen:

Against teams at least .500, the Magic are 10-2 when Howard blocks three or more shots a night -- but 1-12 when he swats three or fewer.

So, StM is right and Howard is wrong.

Defense, rebounding, and lowering oppenent FG% are the key roles Howard must display for the Magic to beat good teams.

Okay, maybe not what I predicted but he responded with a typical game of his. Still, we are going to the Finals.
