The Nuggets, Bulls, 76ers, Heat, Warriors and Nets are among the teams seeking to acquire Lowry, the 24th overall pick in 2006 who became expandable when the Grizzlies acquired Javaris Crittenton from the Lakers in the Gasol trade.

Otis really isn't this stupid? average player= average GM. so the nets who have one of the best PGs in the nba can go after lowry, but orlando, who has the worst PG combo for a playoff team cant?

Seriously the Otis hate is getting stupid. Are you riping Otis because a media source didnt list the Magic as one of the teams interested in Lowry? Grow up please.

lowry is a shoot first player? watch him play please.
undersized? yeh, but he rebounds, he has got triple doubles already. watch him play. he would be great off the bench.

Triple doubles? You're wrong. You must be mistaking Lowry for Paul.
In 25 mpg he has 8.6points, 3.5 assists, 3,4 rebounds and 1,7 turnovers on 39% shooting (24% from three pointers). Oh, and no, he never had a triple double. The closest he got was a 14-9-9... in over 49 minutes of playtime when he shot 33% and had also 4 turnovers. Get your numbers right before making statements like you did.
Yes he has upside.
No, we don't need a 6.0ft, 175 pounds PG right now.
Oh, and he never outplayed Conley, I advise you to watch their games. Conley, when healthy is the starter. Always.

Actually Lowry has had a couple of triple doubles in his career so far.

He did have triple double but uit was in the pre-season so it doesn't count. He is a nice contributor who has a motor that doesn't stop and he doesn't mind deferring since he has never been a star in high school, college, or the pros. his on the ball defense reminds you of Ron Artest from his Chicago days because he is so strong and he is always moving and pestering his man. I bet he makes Conley's life hell in practice. I would take him in a heart beat if it means Larry Hughes and other big guards don't light us up any more.

conley starts because they are giving him every chance to be the man. regardless of who is doing well or not. lowry was playing awesome when conley was out, and conley came back and started right away, thats how it is when you invest in someone like that.
lowry had a triple double in preseason, my mistake. he doesnt play like he's 6-0 he plays like he is 6-3.
lowry isnt a great shooter, but he has a knack for coming up with huge plays, diving all over the floor. any one who watches him, loves him, because of the way he plays. im not saying he should be the started, but would be great off the bench.
there is always a place on the team for a guy who is fearless, something orlando lacks. the guy is 21 years old, and doesnt know how to run an nba offense yet. he'll be 100x the nba player redick will be. ask a nova fan or ask a grizz fan about what lowry brings to the table, i'm sure they will rave. he's so quick it's like there is two of him out there.

Granted it was pre-season... The response stated "He never had..." Never also including pre-season

said it before and i'll repeat myself, Lowry just needs minutes...he's already better than Carlos statistically, and he's FAST...

lol, pre-season games, you're counting them. Damn, JJ and Garrity also had huge pre-season games this year... maybe we should make them starters right now. If people are judging a player for his stats in pre-season games they really should consider change that.
Lowry never had a triple double in a "real" game in the NBA. You can go check for yourself:

um no one is saying kyle lowry should start. you obviously have not seen him play, and are just blindly making comments about him.
almost as entertaining as saying he is a shoot first player. orlando has th e ultimate shoot first player in nelson and to a lesser extent arroyo.

I like how you just assume that.
And you're wrong. Again.

I'm no Lowry hater, but he is the wrong kind of PG for us. He is too much like Jameer. We need a big PG like Andre Miller or Javaris Crittenton.
