just now on the herd on espn radion says that the lakers have another trade about to go down.... i ll keep you posted but if anyone else can listen tune in...

herd says that according to a chicago newspaper la is in talks with washington about lamar and caron... but why would wash. do this to clear cap space to sign gilbert?? are they even near the cap... and they have to resign antwain this offseason too... if the lakers pull this off they would have to be the favorites to win it all ... if they werent already.

the salaries dont match up so it seems they would have to be some fillers added in... you think kobe still wants to be traded?

You would have to add Daniels or Thomas or something. Maybe a third team to give expirings because washington will be bairly under the cap next year which actuall screws them out of the 5.5 MLE.

I refuse to believe that Wizards would consider to trade their best player in order to resign their less valuable players. On the other hand, value is a subjetive issue but this trade would realy amaze me.

I don't mind Washington dismantling their team, but c'mon, it's not fair! How can the Lakers pull off these deals and we can't, when we have just as many expiring contracts.
