Come on, it was obligatory
A lot of us wanted him with our second round pick, and he would be a solid bench player for us. He does everything Augustine does, but has a relatively consistent jumper to augment (no pun intended) it. He was great at drawing fouls in college, can dribble and drive, and could help us out when Superman goes to the bench.
Furthermore, Google Image search Nick Fazekas, and this picture comes up on page 2:
Getter Done Otis!

Would have posted sooner had I seen it
Also the

face needs renovation. The red triangle doesn't look like a tongue so much as an open mouth. I expect that you, as a moderator and factotum of the site, will campaign for the issue.

believe it or not, Otis and the rest of the organization seem to dislike D-League guys...true story...they dont have much in the way of cultivation...they have a short staff, and most of their scouting is done at Midwest high schools and colleges...I think Darrell was the first and one of the last rags to riches guys you will see from this team...

Desmond Pennegar deserved more than he got. He hustled in the paint and was scrappy on defense. High energy guy. I kind of wish we had kept him around.

If we don't like D-league guys then why are we holding on to Auggie???

I think ur right about that. The Magic have never seemed like they put much effort in scouting. Other teams, like the Mavs and Spurs, have a staff of scouts everywhere, in different parts of the country and the world. The Magic have never seemed to put much effort into that. They have a small scouting staff and they havent done much to stock pile overseas talent (Fran doesnt count because he fooled them, and Gortat may never actually play in the NBA).
