Don't drop the ball Orlando. Dwight, trust your instincts. Get deep post position and look to attract the double and triple team, when that happens kick it out and play to your strength. 3 pt shooting.
The Raptors Kryptonite is rebounding and defending opposing wingmen who can score and slash into the paint. Lewis has avg'd 30 ppg in his last 4 visits to Toronto, continue the stellar play.
I can't believe the Magic are 5 pt Dog's going into this game, they have the best road record in the NBA.
Key to winning the game:
Keep the ball out of Bosh's hand. If Bosh does decide to guard Dwight, he should look to attack Bosh in the paint in hopes he picks up 2 early fouls.
In his last four games against the Magic, CB4 has avg'd 32/11, get him out the game early or double down if you have to. Just make sure Bosh becomes a non-factor.
Orlando is also 5-2 on the road after winning by 10 points or more in double headers.

On the trivia connection part you forgot that Magic assistant coach Brendan Malone, was the Raptors first ever head coach in 1995-96.

Let's go, I'm excited.
I know they had to be hyped up for the Detroit game, and I hope they don't let down against the Raptors.

Wow, really?
I never really pay attention to those honestly, but that seem kind of odd.

Like Detroit, the Magic matchup poorly against Toronto. But, if the three ball is falling, and the Magic can find interior defense, this is winnable.
Nelson might be a key towards ensuring Hedo can be more involved. And Howard clearly needs a 12+ rebound night.

Toronto is favored at -4.5 for this game. Sounds about right for me.

If Rasho can play Dwight well like he normally does, this will be a struggle (and truly underrates how valuable an asset Rasho is for the Raptors come playoff time).
SVG put it best last night in the post game. We're either going to show up like we did with Detroit, or we'll be massively frustrated with a letdown performance.
I'll say this, don't expect Toronto to roll over, that team is a few more wins from getting a top 4 playoff spot.
Also, it's great to finally see a game thread posted before 3 p.m., well done.

As far as the betting odds, the home team in a pretty even matchup usually gets the nod in favorability anyway.
Plus, until of late, Toronto has not been kind to us when it comes to trying to win (then again, we finally did win in the palace).
First team to 20 road wins and our 9-4 record on tail ends of back-to-backs makes me feel comfortable that we'll at least show up tonight.

The Raptors matchup worse to the Magic.

So im thinking that Toronto didnt play last night right?
It will be interesting to see what kind of attitude our guys show up with after dominating Detroit last night.

???
Rasho was the one guarding Dwight when he got his career high (at the time). Dwight went 13/14 from the field that game.....

I don't get why other boards always seem surprised by how large our game threads get. You can almost be certain someone will make a similar comment to above.
And it's been up for a week! We tend to get out game thread up right after the previous game...

Oh yeah, good luck guys!
I find myself rooting for you guys a bit (except when you play us!). More than any other east team at least. I guess I felt bad for you guys after your great start last year and subsequent slide...

Is this the 1st time we have played the Raptors this year. I remember the great flame war we had with these guy's that one time. It was cool. I don't expect that will happen this time but you never know. I think one of the funnyiest things said was how Canada was going to send thier millitary to help out in Iraq but one of thier guy's was sick and thier tank broke down so they did'nt have any way to get thier other 3 guy's there. lol

Wondering if the trade talk around Bargnani and Parker will make them torch us.

Bosh vs. Dwight, even if they're not guarding each other, is always a pleasure to watch. Should be a good game.
