Oh the pleasantries and frustrations of being a Magic fan around the NBA trade deadline. No there is no coincidence that I make a reappearance now, it is intentionally on purpose. I kind of gave up the role of super-guru to some and complete idiot/fabricator to others. I keep up on Magic news and NBA tibits from my friends who work in the NBA. I still watch and go to games when I can, not just Magic games. After last summer with the mixed emotions many Magic fans felt when they signed the biggest free agent, but then lost a verbal commitment from Grant Hill and then saw Darko and Travis leave with nothing in return, it seemed like the appropriate time to cash in my chips and return to just a regular fan. It was never about

As many of you may know I have friends/ties with several clubs. I have not kept it a secret that one of my closest friends works for the Warriors and has for several years. I had lunch with him today and he felt like he heard a lot of substantiated rumors circulating out of Orlando. Basically what I was told is Orlando is willing to deal Hill's contract but there are parameters that would need to be met before making a deal. (yeah yeah I know all about the interview with Chad Ford)

Only new point that I got out of it was the reference to Brad's and Tony's contracts running out at the same time. It would be the same time as a crop of top FAs become available.

He also needs a proof reader as sentences just stop.
They have one big thing in common.
Everyone I ran in to felt that if their team did not find a way to win a championship in the next 2-3 years that it would be extremely tough because all roads to the title will go through .

I often would question if this was true why this has not happened with LeBron in and I got the same answer from every person.

Which is odd, since one thing you could say about him is that his pieces were always well written and entertaining reads, throwing truth out the window. I guess he was just so excited to get this "breaking" news out there that he just simply could not take the time to clean it up.
