Time to call Memphis and get Darko

Darko would solve our problem - I know it won't happen and Memphis would probably want too much, but I'd give them Garrity and Bogans or Garrity and Augustine. Bad move to lose Darko he could have been the piece we need and I know he is not playing great now, but he plays better alongside Dwight.
Anyway, we need a PF and we need to move some expiring contracts - give up Garrity, Arroyo, Augustine, rights to Fran girl for Wilcox and a PG - consider a 1st rounder - it would essentially be a trade of a late 1st round pick for Wilcox.
I just don't want to watch us let assets go for waste again.

Never mind Knappy. The sad thing is that even with his horrible year he's probably better than all the other big men we have. Straight up for those scrubs I'd do it. Arroyo should get you more bang for your buck than that though.

you have to be kidding me. He's been simply horrible in Memphis. He can finally be labeled as a bust. A total and complete bust. I rather have Cook than Darko right now.

Yup.
Darko is soft. We need a banger down low. He spent all his time in Detroit complaining about riding the pine, then he gets serious minutes and shows how overrated he was a number two draft pick. He has a solid outside jumper, but he curls up in the fetal position when asked to defend down low. I'm sure SVG had no small part in having us not re-sign him. He's all about defense, and Darko can't even pronounce it, which has nothing to do with the fact that he's from Serbia.
