So now that we are assured that the Orlando Magic will not make a trade, what do they do now? who do they resign in the offseason, and who do we just let let go? who do we go after? Or is it way too early to even think about?
I imagine we hold onto Dooling but other than that, im not sure

We wait for Sacramento to waive either Lorenzen Wright or Anthony Johnson, and then pick him up. We re-sign Dooling and Evans over the summer. Let the rest walk. Bring in a backup pointguard with the veteran's exception, and look at MLE possibilities.

We don't have much of a choice. Draft someone like Alexis Ajinca, who can defend and hit the J. Otis really blew it hard this deadline.

Evans I'm convinced will be back, unless they don't have that SG position garunteed for him when he returns.
Dooling and the rest I don't know what will happen. I'm sure Dooling wants to stay, but he wants to start too, and wants to play for a championship team. Either or. 80% chance I think he stays though.

Dooling, despite what he might want, will not be making big dollars as the starting point guard for a championship team. In the end, he'll be back with a 3/10M contract and a spot on the bench.

im not sure about that, i know there are decent pf who will be free agents this summer i made a list of them on a thread a while back. i think we let all of our free agents go except dooling and evans and let bogans walk, the 2nd 2 spot goes to jj, and we pick up a free agent power forward. and possily get one in the draft but i bet we go for a pg in the draft

Bogans is signed for the next year. He's gonna be here next year. I now hope we re-sign Evans and Dooling.
No playing time for our extremely valuable bench warmer. Again.

oh, I was answering magicman123 (had the page open for a while, took a lot to answer as I was reading other tabs and ended up posting after 87325 posts from other guys

).
I don't think we'll trade Bogans. I mean, we couldn't get anyone with 13 millions in expirings, what confidence do I have in seeing a trade for Bogans in the offseason? Specially to give JJ playing time... JJ is what he is and I doubt SvG simply decides to suddenly give him playing time just because Otis thinks he's a baller.

Hey guys I am eager to get to Florida and catch a magic game probably the kings or knicks game. I was wondering if any of you knew if there was a shuttle bus or something that goes from kissimmee to amway?

lol
ya i see where you are coming from. and that could very much be it but, while many here have coined otis as stupid, i dont think hes so stupid to hold jj till summer for absolutely nothing. In my mind he either is keeping jj to see how he reacts to his situation and will either let him go this summer or resign him and deal bogans. Otis and SVG have made it clear that they love jj's practice. but i dont no its unpredictible

espn says bogans has a players option this year...Unrestricted: Carlos Arroyo, Keith Bogans (P), Keyon Dooling, Maurice Evans, Adonal Foyle (P), Pat Garrity

Maybe Otis is really optimistic on Fran coming here and being a beast and finding a solid PG bacup with the 20ish pick....
Back to reality, we'll scramble late and get anther big like Foyle at the last minute and be in the same position as last year.

Seeing that we didn't make a trade, this means the writing is on the wall for turk. I think Turk will be traded this summer for something...I don't know
