Ok I have seen some of you guy's have the video signatures. I was trying to learn how to save video from the net so I can edit it and use it myself, but it seems there are lots of ways to save it but I am having trouble getting it to a program that I can use to edit it and keep it as mine. What is a good program to use to edit it with and what is the best way to save video off of the web? I did download the new real player 11 and it allows you to download video but there is no editing capability and you cant transfer it out of the program, that I know of. Also how are you putting that video into your signatures and avatars. thanks

I think most people use Youtube videos and just copy them and format them into avatars and such. There are many sites that help you with getting Youtube videos, but I don't think it's legal, so I'll leave it up to you to find those places...

Hey, Youtube gives up that embedding and URL info, as far as I am concerened they've asked for it. I work with this crap and I can't beleive I don't know how to do this. I'm going to try your way, and see how it goes.

i believe you need to convert it after you download it. .flv files are not supported, I think, by most programs.

ok thanks, but don't you have to splice it or something. I mean those you tube c=videos are much bigger than I see in your avatars. What software are you using if you do have to edit it. Anyway's thanks

What program are people using to convert Youtube videos to animated gifs?

I have Ulead 5, but that program is about 6 years old I believe. It won't open videos that I've saved from Youtube (using Real Player).
