I know he is 100 years old but he could really give us that rod strickland backup role.
He knows how to control the pace of the game and can dish, shoot, defend...and although he is injury prone..he is a good teacher for the young pg's....aka Shooting guard jamaer nelson.

At this point he is not an upgrade over Dooling IMO.

He would either go to Boston, or back to his home planet before he came here.

Actually a favorite of mine, I'd love to see him here, but as people have said we'd have 2 many PG's, hes getting on a bit and also he'd prob try and ride Boston to a ring b4 he retires.

Why would he sign with the Magic when he has the opportunity to play with KG and the Celts or Suns with Amare or Spurs with Duncan.

It's not as likely as Boston, but it's also possible he could end up in Denver. He played for George Karl before, and the Nuggets have expressed interest. And they could use a point guard like Cassell; they are kind of falling off a little. (It would be entertaining watching Cassell and Iverson on the same team, too -- in more ways than one.)

Smith is happy with the PG situation.........LOL
