First of all I would like to apologize because i dont have the link for his info. I read it an aritcle a few days ago and I forgot where i read it. Anyway, in the article it said that the Magic have tried a couple of times this season to talk PJ Brown out of retirement and that they might continue to do so. Any thoughts on PJ and the chances we sign him? And if anyone can find that article can you post it on here? IF Webber and Dale Davis can come out of retirement i guess it can happen with PJ too.

they tried earlier in the season when we were looking for a Battie replacement...it was Webber and PJ Brown supposedly and Brown said he was done...Aldridge seems to think that if Brown comes back it will be NO, PHO or DAL...
but he'd be great...

pj brown could definately help us... pretty much any veteran big with some skill could find some minutes on our team... especially when we play a big team.... i could see him finding 10-15 mins against bigger teams

It is not clear PJ Brown is in NBA shape. I have read nothing to suggest that he is properly training. If not, at this late stage of the season, he could not contribute.

Unless someone on our roster goes down with an injury...our current is what we are going into the playoff with...get use to it...anyway I down see Stan giving 15 plus minutes to any newcomer.

Who needs P.J. when we have a defensive stopper like Garrity?

However, Denton writes that the Magic have repeatedly pursued veteran power forward P.J. Brown, but he has refused to come out of semi-retirement all season

a lot of guy who are just recently removed still stay in shape...Brown has always been one of those hard workers, he's not Webber...so while we dont know for certain, i'm sure he's keeping up his body...and Brown brings a lot of those palpable assets...unfortunately I believe that N.O., Dallas or Phoenix will end up with Brown...sad, but true...

The thing that I always really liked about P.J. (when he wasn't playing the Magic) was he was mean. And clever -- he'd get in these little shots at people that the refs didn't catch about 75 percent of the time. That's why I was hoping he would play for the Magic this season. I don't think it will happen now though. If he does come back -- and I'm not sure that he will -- he'll either go to New Orleans (where is really is from the area) or to one of those all-star teams that he thinks is going to win a title this year. That's what all of those older players want to do because they are hoping to get that title immediately.
That's what I want Otis to find for the Magic long term. Someone who can play like P.J. but is 28 or younger. Someone who can hit that little 12- to 15-foot jumper and who will put someone on the floor. I don't know who that guy is right now. The young fellas just aren't all that mean.

When it comes to PJ Brown and the Magic, the Magic are like that guy that has been in love with this chick for years, and he keeps asking her out from time to time but she always says no. You would have thought that he would have gotten the message the first time she said no....
