question, if we did want to get him would we have to waive players also in order to fit him under the cap?

I wouldn't mind him for the right price. The right price being $10.

Walker can have some good spurts. definitely not a guy you would commit major dollars or years to though. the better side of his game used to be offense . So he's not really filling a need.

he has a ring and played a key role in those playoffs, plus he is another shooter and imagine a line up of nelson/turk/lewis/walker/cook, you can run that against small teams and for short spurts if we need three's or you can run nelson/turk/lewis/walker/dwight...dwight would have mega space down low...id go out and give him a look

Can tubby still run up and down the floor?
He had one season of note with his annoying waggle with the Cs.
Ever since then he's been a loser.
Besides he's not the PF we need - we need a true PF to help in the playoffs. He's a soft as Charmin.

The world would selfdestruct with all the titles we'd win with Cookie and The Shimmy leading the bench.
Seriously, who would get more shots?

OK, Walker isn't as bad as you guys make him out to be.
I wouldn't sign him because he seems to be somewhat of a lockeroom cancer, but if that's overblown by the Internet and execs know that not to be true, then go ahead and sign him, our frontcourt certainly isn't so good not to accept help. Even from a fat SF masquerading as a PF.

Lewis is as good a power forward as Walker could be. I think they need a more traditional big guy. Even if he's kind of a stiff. I hope Tony can come back for the playoffs.
