Dwight's mom had seven miscarriages before he was born. Dwight was born two months early.

Yeah, I saw that on NBA TV a few days ago.
2 months early and the size he was is crazy.

I remember reading about the miscarriages thing. His mother refers to him as the miracle child and that he was truly destined for greatness.
I'm inclined to agree.
My brother was born 3 months premature and is 6'6 and about 250lbs. I was born 6 weeks early and I'm 6'11 and probably about 280.
I believe Dwight's younger brother is tall and of a similar build to Dwight (tall and broad shouldered) as well? Good genes from Mama Howard.

i was premature by 2 months, underdeveloped lungs and lived in the hospital for the first 8 months of my life apparently...i'm 6'11...guess there might be something to that...

I'm premature by 2 1/4. I don't have any of these physical blessings you guys speak of. But I am proud to at least walk and on occasion play some softball and basketball. On a nice day I am about 5"10.
