7 games behind Boston. All we have to do is win out and we got it.

Boston can have the wrath of Diener.

you think Detroit might catch them. They are playing well. It would be sweet to get out of Detroit's half of the bracket and be able to possibly upset Boston in the second round and give Cleveland a chance to either beat Detroit and tire their ass out for the ECF.

1. yes, best case scenario is detroit overtaking boston while orlando gets the third seed.
2. things might change, however, if orlando is not careful; cleveland and even toronto might get that third see, would orlando keep losing to teams like philadelphia, here and there.

Boston's bench got a lot stronger last week. Don't assume that we will be able to just roll right over them because we have beaten them in the regular season.

uhh who said well roll over them? I said i like our chances better against Boston than Detroit. Do some of you purposely look to try and start conflicts?

We have no chance in hell to catch them, but like someone pointed out, I would love for the Pistons to get a hold of that #1 seed, I think they are playing each other this week.

The Magic don't stand a chance againts Detroit in the playoffs, simple as that; and even though I think the Celtics would beat us in 6, I like our chances againts them better.

By the way, the Raptors won't catch us. At this point, the only team that can catch us is Cleveland, but with our easy schedule, I don't see it happening

If we get out of the 1st Round.
I'd actually rather take on Detroit and get them out of the picture if we are truly blessed for greatness.
They're only hot sh*t if we fear them.

Uh Huh. don't put Noles into a bad mood. I don't know who I would choose. Regular season would suggest Boston instead of Detroit but playoffs are alot more intense and Boston has the pieces and motivation to really ramp it up.

The Magic are almost in a locked-in position for #3. Toronto has a tough schedule in their last games; and the Magic already won this match-up tiebreaker. THe Magic are 4 games up on Cleveland. Cleveland has a similar schedule as the Magic. But four games is tough given that both Orlando and Cleveland look to win ~70% of their final games.

At the top, the Magic are three games back of Detroit. They have a couple of tough games here and there, but nothing that challenging. I expect 60%+ win effort. 60% wins for Detroit takes them to 57 wins. 70% wins for the Magic takes them to 53 wins. Not enough. THe Magic need to win big or Detroit lose big for Orlando to squeeze into the #2. That probably only happens if a key Piston has an injury in the next games.

At the other end, Washington looks more an more certain to slot at #6. They won't catch Toronto. But at 2 games back, Philly could continue their strong play and overtake.

So, the Magic look very likely to meet Washington and there is a bit of a chance that they will match-up with Philly.

Would Washington have Arenas and/or Butler?

If Cleveland beats Detroit in the semis, how the hell do we beat Detroit in the ECFs?

You never know, wasn't like 2 years ago Brianhill's squad won 10 games in a row or something like that. Getting the #1 seed would be the ultimate comeback against all that Boston "big three" crap.

This season is still very good even at the #3 spot anyway, the real goal is getting past the first round.
