would we be interested? i know his injury concerns but hes definitely an upgrade over what we have....his chucking expedition against us wasnt the norm, he was just trying to prove to otis he's fearless out there

his game is respectable when he plays team swing...but his cost, mental lapse and injury history are disconcerting...i'd rather look elsewhere for a backup guy...

The thing is, people complain about our guards being little and defenseless and then Ford is not even 5'8. Im taller than he is lol.

that is true, TJ is tiny, he makes Jameer look like a beast...

meer's game looks decent, and between him and arroyo the stat line yesterday against the wizards was like

20pts 16 Assists. Thats one Steve Nash on any given night.

Against a team missing its two best players. Even the sun shines on a dog's ass some days.

I wouldn't want to gamble on Ford soley based on his injury history.

Ford is not much of an upgrade, now Calderon is another story

Considering Ford's past injuries and his height, I'd rather stick with Nelson.

That same team beat New Orleans a few nights earlier.. They have Paul. According to their annoucers they were in the middle of a very good defensive stretch..

Didn't they win 4 out 5 before meeting up with us?

I'll pass on TJ Ford. He is quick, he can score in bursts as he has done against us in the past...(thinking back to a Timberwolves game a couple years ago)...but I don't believe he would be a good fit for us being that we need a distributor/playmaker and not another shoot first scorer.

he's a pass first pg but he is really small and very injury prone...im kind of in the middle on this one

He has proven his body to be quite fragile.

God I hate this saying.

There's no way Toronto deals with Orlando. That'd be like the Magic trading Redick to the Celtics or the Pistons for a pick.

Call me crazy...but I'd take a shot with Ford backing up Nelson....but I don't think Toronto would pick up the phone if Otis called...

I honestly thought Ford would end up in PHX for maybe Diaw or something like that...but I wouldn't mind him in Orlando... :D

backing up Nelson? i would do it for sure, but financially, it's hurtful...
