First i want to start by saying i am tired of these threads too but i didnt get my turn yet so here it goes
Ok... first of all im sure i am going to get flamed for this but... i think that the player who would make us a championship threat next season would be...
Rasheed Wallace
He would spread the floor like shard does while allowing shard to move back to the 3 spot. also he makes us a much better defensive team. He is the type of person who could help us against teams with larger PFs like Utah, Spurs, Suns, Lakers, ect... The last thing i really like about sheed coming is that he has always seemed to like Dwight and continues to give him advise before, after, and even during games against one another.
Now the bad part, to get sheed we would probably have to include Turk in a sign and trade. but think of how nice our lineup would look
Jameer/Dooling
MLE/Evans/Redick
Shard/Evans
Sheed/Cook
Dwight/Foyle/Warlock

Sheed would be a great pick up for us. I doubt Detroit let's him go easily.

Dwight Howard is way more inconsistent (offensively) than anybody in Cleveland's starting lineup, at this point.
Rashard Lewis could create problems, though."[/b]

Than ANYONE in their starting lineup?
It's OK. Let everyone be so sure they are better. We'll see if their teams all back it up. I'm not even sure the Magic will face Cleveland in the playoffs anyway.

At some point, Detroit will need to explode their roster. But it will be more like Miami this year. An aging team that is expected to play well, and then does not. Then, come trade deadline, the roster is smashed for rebuilding.
Detroit will again be unlikely to make off-season moves.
For me the question is how many more years the Pistons can continue to make no roster changes. Even next year, I could see a Miami-like implosion. It will only take on major injury, and that house-of-cards will collapse.

I think he also forgot to mention that Dwight is better defensively who will abuse his way with the Cavs frontcourt. He also forgot to mention that Hedo will eat Wally's World for breakfast any day. Yeah, its basically Lebron, Lebron and Lebron on that team

Oh yeah, Zandrunas Illgauskas consistantly gets 20 and 20 LOL, on that same note Ben Wallace is pretty consistant going 2-3 from the field and 1 for 38,000 from the fould line.
This guy wins the dumbass post of the day award. Dwight is in consistant, but he still busts out 21 and 14....uh. Idiots.

I don't think Joe Dumars would give up Rasheed without getting another Big in return....Besides Rasheeds passion on the court is priceless..lol
