Just was thinking and thought i was kinda funny that now tmac has both types of steaks in his career and is going for 20 on wednesday against the hawks. to bad he couldn't get that 20 with us.Had to stop at 19.. haha

it would have been funny if they played the suns the next game and the suns beat them...then both streaks would have been ended by the suns... but good for houston...t-mac is a great player and that team is playing the best basketball i have ever seen...they held the nets to 20% shooting in the first half...i don't care how bad a team is, that is amazing defense

Yep, they are playing awesome and Tmac is leading the way. I thought they would fold like a lawn chair, but to their credit they are on a serious roll. I doubt they do any damage in the playoffs without Yao, but you still have to take your hat off to them for their streak.

Man, don't even remind me of that season, but I do remember the PHX game where our streak ended. It felt like we won the championship.
T-Mac has a much better supporting cast (minus Yao) than the 03-04 team, and he has really elevated his game to a different level, similar to his Orlando days.
The Orlando Tmac >> The Houston Tmac

I thought of this also when he got to 19 wins. I guess he's the only player thats ever lost 19 and won 19 in a row

Yeah, great run by the Rockets.
However, I bet they run out of gas as soon as the streak ends with another 1st round KO..

T-Mac carried the kind of team like I've never seen any other super star has to do with their respective team before.

I think alot of credit has to go to Adelman, it took the team a while to get used to his style and philosophy but now its paying off.

And you forgot about Gooden, who was the 2nd best player in Magic squad that year for Orlando.
