Howard is a tall 6'10" or a short 6'11"
Howard was 6'9" before coming to the NBA, but continued to grow.

I'd say 6'9 or 6'10, he's pretty short (compared to other big men) if you actually look but his hops/arms more than fix that

Dwight measured 6'9" at the draft camp without shoes, but with shoes he measured 6'10.25". Because he was only 18, he most likely grew another inch or so, so yea like drsd said he's probably between 6'10" and 6'11".

6'9 in socks when he was 17. Probably 6'10 in socks now. Definitely not 7'0. Probably 6'11 or so in shoes. And Thief seems to confirm this.

For real ... as opposed to ... "for fake"?
Sorry ... just one of my pet peaves with the modern day abuse of the English language. Just a part of getting old I guess.

Howard is just short of 7'0 in shoes now, which puts him at ~6'10.5 out of them.

Pat did measure 6'10 1/4" in shoes so it makes sense.

Dwight is 6'11" in shoes, but he always slouches so he looks shorter.

That's actually what I say. Most people I deal with are shorter than I, so I do slouch.

So he's a real person? I assumed that he was just an account in the system.

I never saw those measurements...I know he was 6'10" 1/4 at the predraft camp in socks, never heard of a 6'9" measurement.

Off topic, but since it's a D12 thread, I'll ask. Is there a record for consecutive games with a dunk? I just thought of it today. I wonder when the last time D12 didn't have atleast 1 dunk in a game.

I remember him saying he was a little bit shorter than Hedo, in a Sentinel interview circa 2006. So he's prolly 6'9" and something or 2.07 in metrics.
The nba height measurement "with shoes" is stupid btw.
