OT - NBA.com is horrible

Every day they have EVERYTHING wrong. This has been bothering me for a year now. The recaps will call Rashard Dwight, they'll say it's a 5 game winning streak when it's really 3, they'll get the stats wrong. I swear, the people who work at NBA.com have never seen a basketball game in their lives. It's not that hard, you can check how many games a team is a ahead or something simple like how many points a player is averaging from the site you're working for, or you can even read the back of the player's jersey to see what his name is. Someone should report this.
/end rant

You need to be corrected on one remark that NBA.com got right it is a 5 game winning streak. Those of watching the Magic know that.

I just made that up. I wasn't referring to the Magic. It was an example. Someone who read my post would know that.

NBA.com's game recaps written by the associated press whom NBA.com pays to use their news. The same recap is usually published across the web on several sites, the recap's go up so quickly these days its likely pretty automatic and I'm not sure how much editing is done, but each site that used the AP stuff wouldn't do their own editing, they would likely just trust it to be sound.
If AP writers are getting it wrong you'd imagine at some point someone would notice and they would be replaced.

The video highlights. Not the written recaps.

I'm not too considered with why you believe NBA.com is horrible, all I got to say is...
I AGREE!

their video highlights are crap...they never show the right key moments of the game or they'll show 5 highlights from a dude that has 10 points and 0 from a guy that dominated the whole game...and yes I do sometimes think these goons are lucky to be getting paid to do that crap

NBA.com was once the best of the 3 major sports. It seems to have fallen off some and the other sports have caught up.

Unless the guy is Lebron, KG or Kobe...even the highlights follow the superstar rule, sometimes they don't even show the team who won if the losing one is from a big maket like LA. It's pathetic, really.

The one thing I will say for them is that their recaps are better than ESPN's. ESPN's last about 12 seconds and are always full of dead air and pauses.
