No More FSN Florida Games This season

For everyone with Bright House Networks cable in Orlando and the comcast areas that either do not have FSN and/or the Magic games that come with it, were out of the woods for the rest of these season.

Due to FSN Florida's baseball obligations, they had their Magic schedule frontloaded at the beginning of the season and because of this no Magic games will be on FSN in April.

The nightmare is over for now.

Because of the baseball coverage and the Tampa Bay Lightning not making the playoffs, I seriously doubt any local playoff coverage will be on FSN Florida. A source also told me this will probably be the case.

Regardless, all sides including the Magic need to work this out and get a deal done this summer so we can watch some summer baseball games and not have to wonder about this dispute the entire summer up until next season when the FSN Florida schedule will be frontloaded again.

Maybe I'm wrong but FSN is the only one who goes on NBA TV right? Also, what's the postseason TV schedule? One network will show all games? Thanks for the info

Apparently all games will be on Sun Sports.

We also get the national feed when a game is on ESPN and TNT but not NBA TV and ABC.

I can't believe they went through a whole season of this without people rioting in the streets. We need more MAGIC in O-town and this is what our monopolistic cable provider sticks us with the whole year... Thanks

Playoff success may help create some demand in settling this issue for next year.

The coverage situation this year was ruthless, fence building, and pathetic. All 3 parties were to blame.

Damn, forgot Kebo wore #3 for a bit.
Also, it's gonna suck balls for you guys come the Spurs game on Tuesday. I suggest a RealGM party in the arena.

I said the hell with Brighthouse and switched to Dish Network...and it was the best choice we've made.

One More game.

It is a shame the game is vs. The Spurs but thank goodness it's the last FSN Florida game of the season.

Wonder if we will have a finish like the last time the Spurs came to Orlando.

^^^ That was a great finish with D-12 getting the inbound pass to dunk it in for the win. I think the Magic had to fight from 16 down the the second half to win that game away from the Spurs.

I really want that full game of last years Magic/Spurs game on tape somewhere.

And there's only 1 more FSN game because the season is over lol

Well, were going without any games in April too.

Regardless, a deal needs to get done.

Unfortunately, there are more years left on that TV deal. I'm not sure how many more years -- but if we've learned anything, it's that Bright House isn't going to give in so they aren't going to add FSN. Only option Magic fans really have is to give up Bright House and go to satellite if they want the whole package.

The better the Magic do in the second season, the more pressure there will be to resolve this deal.

My problem: where has David Stern been in this fiasco? It's his job to mediate all things financial. And these black-mark issues are why he's Mr. Commissioner.

It sucks the Maic lost tonight but the nightmare is over for this season.

I just hope the three sides figure this out over the summer or else we will miss many of the early games as the FSN Florida schedule will likely be frontloaded again.
