The Magic have owned the Sixers, but Philly is hot.

In the potential playoff matchup, all eyes will look to a late-season result.

This is a important game in my eye's for various reasons.

We slipped up vs the Wizards [bad game from us, also when we dont make 90, let alone 100, we are cutting our chances of the W], and we dont want to now drop against another potential playoff candidate.

Not just for the sakes of fans and media saying that we've failed to beat our 2 most likely candidates just weeks before the playoff's, but also confidence, we want to feel we can bounce back from 1 game and beat them.

i love my Magic and am usually very optimistic...but I called this the other day and I just have to stick with it...We lose this one to complete a 2 game losing streak...

I'm calling this a "must-win". Only because of my 5-2 prediction ;-)

Seriously, we need this for our confidence's sake. This may very well be our 1st round match up. We need to establish our dominance before the 2nd season begins.

As always when facing the 6ers in recent years, we need to contain AI.

Last game, Jameer scored 3 points. I don't see that happening again.

Last game, Green scored 26 (twice his season average). I don't see that happening again.

funny thing, Willie Green has been like the x-factor for Philly, if you look at his game logs, the dude has been ballin' it up for them...and this is a guy they would have traded for a 3rd round pick...the fans hate/hated him...

good news for this game is that Dwight has never had back to back bad nights and Shard should get more points...

The glass half empty person may say: so the odds are saying that this will be his first set of bad back to back games.

SD2042 - Is there any reason you don't use blue instead of cyan for the Magic? imho, it would make it a lot easier to read.

Sixer fan here, I really don't want to play the Magic in the playoffs, your 3pt shooting scares me. Looking at our series throught the season, there was one close game, each team has blew the other out, and tonight's game.

If the Sixers split the series with you, I might think a playoff matchup might not be so scary anymore.

The optimist: That glass is half full.
The pessimist: That glass is half empty.
The alcoholic: You gonna' finish that?

UNLEASH THE BEAST THAT IS AIR GARRITY! Another team that he's owned in the past, want to give Pat a chance to redeem himself from the Washington game.

I cannot see how you owned us. The Magic won one game clearl and the other was competitive until the last seconds. On the other side, the Sixers could hold sway in the last game when they dominated the Magic. That's hardly dominating an opponent.

As far as this game is concerned, I think the Magic are destined to win. Howard and Rashard played awful games against the Wiz. I really cannot see zhem having two consecutive bad games. Ain't happing. Sixers are on a roll but they have always struggled against three-point shooting team and their defense didn't look particularly good against Denver.

Anyway, best of luck for the game!

i'm pretty sure he meant historically...

78 games played since the 1989-1990 season until now

Magic - 50
Sixers - 28

The Sixers are red hot but after that loss to the Wiz I think we win this one, had we beaten the Wiz, we wouldn't be as focused and lose this one

That "close" game against the Sixers wasn't even close. The Magic were sleepwalking through the game, I think everyone knew they were gonna win.
