Playoff Tickets?

I was wondering when playoff tickets will be going on sale. Normally they made an announcement at the games once they decide on a date but I have been unable to go recently. Has there been any such announcement or date set by the Magic at all? If so...when?

Yeah Im wondering about this too.
I never been to a playoff game before and want to go for Game 1 for 1st round.
How much more are there? Is there a price change?

Right now their gimmick is "buy season tickets for next year and get dibs on playoff tickets NOW!" so they're riding that for a while. Probably as soon as the season is over and we know who we're facing is when they'll go on sale.
They'll also give people who have purchases packages this season first chance to buy tickets. Last year I bought a 4 game package and was able to get tickets before the general public. I'm planning to do the same this year.
I'm expecting my call from "Pierre with the Orlando Magic!" any moment. The guy calls me every month telling me about great packages, lol. I don't think i've ever bought one from him though.

I'd imagine at the very least they would have to wait until its decided whether we will have home court in the 1st round or not before they could sell them, as that would change where exactly Game 1 is.

It's a process. Right now season and other package ticket holders get first dibs. Then sometime in early April they will be on sale to the general public.
Each seat is raised a certain percentage for each round of the playoffs. Like I think the first round, each normal ticket price is raised a tiny 4%. But if we get to the Finals, it's like 15% (or something like that, don't have the sheet in front of me).
ALSO, if you're a ticket holder and want playoff tickets, you pay up front through the Finals (obviously you will be charged as far as the team progresses in the playoffs).

Won't be for another week or two, but even then season ticket holders still get first dibs on seats before the general public.

Season-ticket holders have to re-up and let the Magic know if they want their seats for the playoffs by April 7. I imagine it will be some time after that. They won't wait for the very end to the season, though, since they know the Magic will be in the playoffs. Because the playoffs usually start two or three days after the regular season ends.

Pierre is my guy too - I don't think he is there anymore, haven't heard from him in a while!

Yeah every year the Magic have made the playoffs they normally make an announcement as to when tickets go on sale to the season ticket holders and then I just go to that game with a friend that has season tix to buy playoff tickets.
I was just wondering if they had made that announcement yet. When someone does hear it be sure to post it.

I got together of 25 people to go to a game and got a group discount. Part of that package was the rights to get PO tickets before they go public as well.

You can get playoff tickets for ANY game of ANY of the playoff series, even for the FINALS. Check out
http://www.stubhub.com I was looking at them and they are really expensive. The way it works is that if your team doesn't make it to the game you bought the ticket for, you will get a FULL refund. Thought about buying a ticket for Game 5 of the Finals in Orlando which is when we'll nail the Championship... so help us God!
