Hedo Turkoglu diagnosed with sprained wrist (Sentinel)

Post#1 » by Bold&Blue » Wed Mar 26, 2008 5:05 pm

Orlando Magic forward Hedo Turkoglu was diagnosed Wednesday with a sprained right wrist and is listed as day-to-day, much to the relief of the playoff-bound team.

Turkoglu underwent an MRI Wednesday that revealed no broken bones or torn tendons.

That should be very good fortune.
Basketball is driven by three principles:

1) Movement 2) Application of fundamentals 3) Predictability

Wow... that is a relief.

Sprains are bad too though, they tend to linger. Hopefully it will not change his confidence...that is arguably the best thing he has going for him right now.

WOW that was a close one. Now what do the coaches do rest him against the bucks or is 2 days gonna be enough time to rest that wrist.

I REALLY hope they rest him. We have enough fire power to beat the Bucks without him, but more importantly, after that, our next game isn't until the following Tuesday. Let him rest his wrist over the next 5-6 days.

Turkoglu was at the Dante & Galante show today, discussing the injury amongst other things. Check it out on the Magic website!

I say we give him a week...maybe two to rest up the wrist and get ready. We pretty much have the third seed locked up, it won't hurt us to have Hedo sit and rest.

Hedo could take of 6 days and miss only 1 game!
