Any chance that Alonzo comes to Orlando for his final year? Or is it inevitable that he signs with Boston/Phoenix/LA or even the Hornets?

i doubt it...would be really nice to have some muscle like that, even if he's dirty and whiny...but if he comes back, he'll probably stick with Miami...he's so deep in that organization and that city...

I agree. If he indeed returns it will be in Miami.

Word has it that he is indeed returning and of course it will be with Miami. He'll probably wait to see what the team looks like before making it official.

Hes owed something like $3 mil (if/when he takes the option), hes embedded into that franchise, and hes still better then most of their options at center (when healthy), if not all of them.
With the team going into its 1st year of rebuilding it would be wise to have Alonzos' fairwell tour as a distraction.

Next year, the Magic will be deep at Center with Battie and Foyle.

Yea Zo's already won his ring, he is not stupid. He will be loyal to the organization that he knows (Miami) and cement himself as a legend there.

I wouldn't mind Zo at all, as you guys know I've got the ultimate respect for that man and what he's battled. He would be a great guy for Dwight to have behind him, he could teach Dwight a thing or two about intensity, and show him how to block shots in play so teammates can snag the ball, rather than swatting them into the beer guy in the stands.
