Clippers waive Aaron Williams

What do you guys think about Orlando picking up Aaron Williams heading into the playoffs? We need another big, particularly a veteran who can bang & help rebound. In the playoffs, there will be nights where we will need another big playing alongside Dwight. When Dwight goes out the game, our defense really suffers. I believe he can definitely help.

i dont think hed be able to be on the playoff roster even if we signed him but id take another big body

From what I gather it's too late you him to be used in the playoffs. In that case it just doesn't make sense.

Thats too bad, I've always liked Aaron Williams. A blue collared guy that always brings his lunch pail to work.

With Howard, Lewis, Gortat, Battie, Foyle, and perhaps Vazquez, it's unclear the Magic need another combo-big. But for the bench, he's worth a look for a lot of teams in the NBA.
