I guess no one noticed since we havent played for a couple of days. But congrats Magic and fans. This is just the first step to getting back to eliteness. I love it that the Magic took control of the division right from the start and never looked back.

This is the Magic's last divisional championship since 1995-1996.

The lockout year saw the Magic tie Miami; 1998-1999.

So, the Magic have won three titles now, and shared one.

This is terrific, and I am excited. The Cavs are in a major slump with the injuries. Boy would I love for them to drop to 6. Lebron will be all that we would have to worry about. I dont know im just nervous seeing any of the buttom teams to be honest.

I dont, i would prefer to keep distance from them and let them play the Celtics in the 2nd round, but i wouldnt like to play the Raptors either (they have Bosh, some 3 pointers and 2 PGs), 76ers would be a much easier oponent for us, IMO.

Yup, this is true. Even if the Magic lose their remaining games and the Wiz win theirs, the tiebreaker would go to us on conference record.

Which mean that Schmitz, once again, is wrong in his blog, saying we are still one away.

Congrats, Magic!!!

One year of Gortat, one division title. Coincidence? I think not.

If Darko can win an NBA title his rookie year with his ass sitting on the bench, why not the Warlock?

I knew Diener was holding us back. Now we can hang some more laundry from the rafters!

I just got an insider email from orlandomagic.com

Subject:
Weekly Preview: Magic look to clinch Southeast Division this week

With the end of the NBA regular season just weeks away, the Orlando Magic head into April with a 47-27 record. Orlando's magic number to clinch the Southeast Division is one while the number to lock up the third seed in the Eastern Conference is three. Orlando can accomplish both feats this week as they play three games beginning with the Western Conference leading New Orleans Hornets on Tuesday night at Amway Arena.

The Magic then have three days off before heading out on the road to play back-to-back games against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday and the New York Knicks on Sunday.

Yeah, as far as I knew, the magic number was still 1. But regardless, barring something extremely crazy, it will happen.
