i think we match up pretty decently against the Hornets...our big issues will be obviously a) Paul and b) Depth...Bonzi Wells right now >> our bench...I believe that David West will have a good night too...

having said that, GO MAGIC!!

Eric Bana? Not really. Peja is as close to being Greek as can be (played in Greece, speaks it and married a Greek model), so I love the man. :)

APRIL FOOLS DAY MEANS EVERYTHING GOES!
So don't be surprised to see Gortat get a double double, Pat scoring 20 points and sending Chris Paul into forever mediocrity with a facial jam, oh and JJ gets 2 points.

I can hear the "Oh I get it, its april fools" jokes on every bad call already.

They will be looking for some revenge. I hope we put in a great effort and come out winners. GO MAGIC

I'm expecting a pretty well contested game tonight, especially with how much rest we have gotten to be able to prepare, and considering how good the Hornets are. My concern is how we are going to contain Paul.

David West also seems to love to play us.

AccuScore has the Magic at 43% to win the game. I agree that NO must be favored.

You know Chris Paul is good when a guy like David West is a 20 ppg scorer. In fact, Paul's presence has upped West's scoreing by over 10 ppg+ over the last three years!

Superduper-stars are those guys that make all team-mates look good. Paul is a Superduper-star!

Honestly, win or lose this game i dont know that it will mean much for the Magic other than how much time it will take for the Magic to get to 50 wins. I would think NO would want this game more since they are in a tight race for that division and top spot in the west. The Magic have clinched the division and should clinch 3rd really soon, possibly this week. Seems they have less to play for at this point. Hopefully Stan gets them hungry for tonight.

I think we lose this one since we have the division locked up and no way of catching Detroit. Maybe we will come out with intensity, but we have nothing to fight for, where NO is trying to hold on to the top spot in the tightly contested west.

I see SVG beginning to rest players for the playoffs. 50 wins is a reasonable goal, along with 3-seed and division championship. This game won't even be used in a tie-breaker since it's non-conference. I think we lose this one, but it certainly won't cost anybody any sleep.

There are 8 more games left before the playoffs.

I don't want us to get into a shutdown mode for the remainder and then expect to be firing again on all cylinders come playoff time.

The game's outcome isn't critical, but the effort is - especially the defensive, even if only the starters play 3 quarters.
