what about the thought of hansbrough or dorsey slipping??? i'd take either in a heartbeat, hell it would solve our bigman issues and we'd only have to concentrate on the 1 and 2 in free agency and trades

Even if he wins the National Championship the many different scouts out there have him not a lottery pick some sites have him being drafted in the middle of the first round.

tournament can change everything.
At worst he is a gauranteed serviceable big man, thats worth of a 10-20 pick.

That has a way of changing as the draft gets closer.
More big men are declaring now, too. The Lopez twins today, and that McGee guy from Nevada.
Whether any bigs are available to the Magic will depend on what other teams ahead of them think they need. Surely, everyone won't draft a big. (Although, it seems like most years the Magic end up just one spot behind where they need to be to get the player they are targeting.) If other teams draft young bigs, some with experience might become available as a result. (I know, but I can dream, can't I?)

Yes you can dream about a big banger for the Magic.

Hansbrough would be a good pick for the Magic. I'm thinking a PG would be better though, since Nelson has been so shaky. We need a potential insurance policy.

Kind of sad that Curry didn't declare, as he was projected around the Magic's draft slot. That kid looks like baby-AI. And at 3 inches taller over Iverson, Curry could be the real deal, and an absolute steal for some team in an eventual draft.

I think we have to draft the best available big PF or C and use our Mid level on a SG and PG since those positions are usually cheaper. Theres is a lot of quality bigs in this draft. I dont think many of the analyst think Hansboro is even a first rounder i dont see him on espn or nbadraft.net mock drafts but there are many other bigs i wouldn't mind getting.

The Magic will draft BPA without regard to position. Slotted in the high 20s (currently 22), Orlando will be fortunate to find a solid bench player from the draft. Next year, given all the expirings, there will be needs at all five player positions at depth levels of 8-15 on the bench and practice squad.
This year and every year I really think BPA has what this team needs!

I don't think Psycho T will be an NBA star, probably just like a Mark Madsen with more talent.

I foresee an injury plagued career for him.

Roy Hibbert sucks.
I wish AJ Price from UConn didn't tear his ACL in his final game, he would've looked good in a Magic uni.

Dynamite analysis. Seriously, you should be in broadcasting.
He's only the best four-year man in the draft and would compliment Dwight perfectly. Favero is right, though, there are injury concerns.

Compliment Dwight perfectly? Do you watch the Magic?
He plays primarily in the post (even though he's rather soft) and is 7'2.
How on God's green Earth does that do anything for Dwight Howard's game?

Hansbrough is the big man version of JJ Redick and Dorsey is a 2nd round pick. Both would be terrible here. When will people realize that the draft is not about taking the best college player, but taking the best prospect?
