Will Dwight make the All NBA First team?

I know two weeks ago this would seem like a no brainer, but with the play of Amare Stoudemire recently, it could be a close decision. I still say Dwight gets the nod over Amare because Amare has been playing power forward since Shaq has come over, what do you guys think?

No reason why it won't be Dwight if the positions hold true.

I know KG will make the 1st team, but do you really think he should? I think Boozer or Amare, for exemple, had a better season.

I don't get the KG for MVP this year, I really don't. Statistically speaking, he can't compete with Kobe, Lebron, or Chris Paul. I know KG has been instrumental for the Celtics success, but he still doesn't deserve the MVP. One could argue Pierce deserves it more.

I could see Howard on the 1st team, and could make a run at that on the Defensive Team as well.

I think he'll make one of them. You never know when they do something weird, like make Tim Duncan a center for the purpose of the All NBA team "because he really plays like a center no matter what his position is officially.''

It's funny because if you replace Garnett w/Amare (as was previously suggested) then I think you have the starting lineup for the Olympic team in Beijing...

We should never get anything other than gold in the Olympics with that lineup

That's a good list.
But the media seem to worship Nash and Duncan so much that I can't see them leaving them off the first team. They are the ones who vote, I'm pretty sure.

Kidd is the starting US pg. And as long as he has never lost a game as starting pg for team USA, I dont think we should start anyone else.

Bronze medal... I told you so. Write it down... you stil don't get it you can't just add the talents of the players its teamwork that counts.
Sorry... God knows you deserve a break.
Note: Though luck there is no God.

I don't want to hate on Dwight, but if Amare is ahead of him, he's not getting first team.
P.S. I do not think Amare is better than Dwight.

thepritz,
OK correction not anymore... back then the international players thought of the US as unbeatable but right know they drew some blood & they won't go down without a fight.
So don't expect the Dream Team days because they are over even if they select the best of the best...just my two cents.
