im still new to realgm. i havnt got the hang of it yet i dont know how to post a link. but shaq said dwight does not desereve to be called super-man.
he then went on to say he has to earn that name. i find that funny seeing as to how he has been going by superman since he was with the magic. he then went on to say hes now the big cactus.

I was wondering how long it was going to take Shaq to say something about that. He's had that Superman logo since he played here. I figured that had something to do with why he's been talking up Amare all the time -- plus the fact that he's his Suns teammate now.

He's just saying this now, because he plays with Amare.

It's simple; whichever sidekick (or in this instance sidekicks) Shaq plays with, he tries to hype them up like crazy. Shaq's always great for quotes, but you really can't put much stock into what he says.

Funny thing is that he (shaq) tried so hard to give himself that nick but it never caught on, he went as far as making the godawful movie Steel but still didn't merit getting called superman. Dwight on the other hand did something that made the media and fans call him Superman and it's rubbing shaq thae wrong way. For once in your life shaq just STFU!

And FYI, I'm the real Superman!!!

That's true. Shaq has tried to suck up every moniker available during his career, I think. He's even created a whole industry of his own nicknames. The fact that he never settled on one maybe hurt his chances of holding on to many of them.

yea i never thought of that, but Shaq was never called Superman out of the blue. Dwight HAS earned it, more so than Shaq ever did. (i'm not saying Shaq didn't earn the nickname either, but Shaq gave it to himself, others gave it to Dwight).

Shaq's nickname should be the "Big Turd"...its more descriptive of his body type, and it also works cause everyone knows he's full of shiiat.

The Diesel fit him better anyone. I love the guy, and The Big Cactus just cracks me up. Shaq will keep doing what he's doing and I always enjoy the show.

NEWS FLASH Shaq...Dwight is a top 5 player in the league and hes earned everything that hes accomplished...He earned to right to start in an all-star game, probably 1st all nba, dunk contest...So i think hes more than qualified to call himself whatever he wants
