Wow this just about does it for me...Im tired of this guy
How would Dwight do if he was in Phoenix...And if he hasnt played as well in the second half of the season...Why havent his numbers dropped off?

He did mention that he expects Dwight will be on most ballots as a first teamer. It doesn't excuse the fact that he is picking Amare because he is blowing up in the PF spot but was forced to play the Center spot before Shaq arrived. Not to mention that Dwight plays considerably better than Amare on defense and rebounds a lot better, which are key ingredients of a great center.
What is really amazing to me is there are only 4 players from the East that make his ballot compared to 11 from the West. The East is so devoid of talent when you compare it to the West. Sure the East has the likes of Dwight, Lebron, and KG. But when you go deeper, the West just has so much more talent than the East.

Yeh he has but that should be a knock against him IMO...Yes hes playing better, but can you imagine Dwight and Shaq playing together with Nash tossing the passes around...Dwight would average 30 PPG
Also no Deron is a shame
I understand hes entitled to his opinions, but they are pretty bad, especially for a "top notch analyst from ESPN"

dwight seems to have such high standers. he was averaging 24/15 at the start of the season but now for some reason 21/14.5 is some massive drop off and is no longer good enough. I find it odd. But whatever if dwight plays well in the playoffs this year he will get his respect. also word out of orlando is hedo is "the geater source" of consistent play than dwight...haha yeah right..where did that come from?

my thing is that everyone keeps saying how Hedo is showing Dwight up as the more dominant player, but they don't realize that Hedo's success is just a product of Dwight and SVG's system. If you took Dwight out or put Hedo on a different team w/out a dominant big man, he wouldn't have nearly as good numbers. w/e, everyone can downplay 21 and 14 plus youngest rebounding champ ever like its no big deal, but we all know whats up. just more fuel for the fire.
Whether you think you CAN or you think you CAN'T, you're right.

Stein's an idiot. Yea Amare has played great since the all-star break, but he's been doing it at PF! Since Shaq got there he's mostly played PF, and he's been blowing it up there because his center is SHAQ! Shaq draws a lot of attention, so Amare is free to do as he will. And with a PG like Nash? Are you kidding me?
I think Amare's a great player, having a great year. But Stein is obviously hypnotized by all the Suns games he has on ESPN. Dwight's up there in the MVP race. Is Amare? no.

2nd that. I was just about to type something very similar until I read yours.
