If you had to pick between the two. Who would your pick be and why?

of the two, Jameer...He has the most potential of the two, he's faster and he works well with our system when he's actually playing PG not SG...Ridnour is bigger and more defensive which is a boost, not to mention he can shoot the ball, but I dont think he necessarily fits out system...i'd still give him a go...

jameer is better than luke right now... and jameer has shown the ability to play better earlier in his career... jameer has had many problems this year and his biggest problem isnt even on the court... even if jameer plays at his current level i would take him over luke ... and this is with out taking into account (we shouldnt have to but we do) the fact of jameer being dwights boy...
Summertime and the livin's easy....

Luke has also been shown to be somewhat injury prone...
Neither could be mistaken for a defensive specialist, but I'd take Meer over luke in that category. At least Jameer has a little more core strength to use when other pg's try to post him (notice how he doesn't get taken to the post that often considering he's smaller than about every guard he plays).

Luke Ridnour is one of the dead worst defenders in the entire league! Why do you think he can't get any burn anywhere? He gets a few steals here and there but he also gets punished by every guard he faces. He gets posted up because he weighs like 160 lbs and he can't stay in front of anyone. Picking off a few lazy passes doesn't make you a good defender. He was the guy that Jay Bilas said "can't guard the chair I'm sitting in" on draft night, and he hasn't gotten any better.

I haven't researched any supporting stats, but I can't believe Luke has averaged more games per season than Jameer, he missed about his entire rookie year with a broken pelvis.
