It's hard to say he's not worth it since we are improved by 9 games and a third seed with him. It is a stretch though.

of course he's overpaid. He's a max contract player, and IMO a max contract is only worthy to franchise players, and as much as I like Rashard he's a 2nd tier player, an all-star when he's the 1st or 2nd option (here he's more of a 3rd option, sometimes 2nd).

But I still love the guy and that sweet sweet man ass

i mean shot. *diverts eyes*

He is certainly overpaid, however, we wouldn't have gotten him otherwise so I think it was worth it. Too bad we had to pay so much though as our cap situation is screwed because of it for several years. Oh well, that is often the price you pay for assembling a championship contending team.

And at most a 2nd round out.. if we get to finals I'll be surprised but pleased. Look I like Shard.. but he is definitely not worth that for 9 wins. If we don't win a chip he is not going to be worth it.

He isn't even a max player. He should be making around 8-11 a year.

2nd tier players don't play 3rd fiddle on teams. he seems more of a 4th or 3rd option and I've seen that this year from this man. He has mainly been 3rd option most the year. Evans even played more like a 3rd option at times this season.

he is a good player, but he is definately the most overpaid.

he is overpaid. But he has been important to our teams success. And in comparison to most overpaid players at least he is productive unlike ben wallace and the many others of the league.

Max contract doesn't equal 3rd option. Good fit, but well overpaid.

With no Hedo, Rashard would be earning that money a bit more. Just look at what he does with the touches he does get. Rashard is an extremely efficient player and one that could score more points and be more effective if he was getting more touches and playing his natural position of small forward.

The fact that Rashard is still getting his 20 with only about 12-14 touches a game speaks for itself. Rashard could do more if he needed too.

Who cares what they think? Real GM also thinks the Magic will take another small forward in the draft. So, apparently they think the Magic are going to overpay one and then compound the problem by taking another player that plays the same position when they already have a second person who plays the position? That takes making no sense and then compounding it times two at least.

I'm sure he could. He's not though because Hedo has become a better all around scorer and player. I wouldn't want to reduce Hedo's role for the sake of Rashard. I don't think he'd be as effective as Hedo.

Of course he is. Rashard is a 8 million a year player with a max contract. People think i criticize Rashard because I don't like him. He is a good player and will definetely help any team but in the grand scope of this league your as valuable as what your paid. Were paying 20 per for a 8 million a year talent. The remaining 12 million per is probably going to be the thing that seperates us from the elite. If Rashard was worth 20 per then we have a top 10 player mvp candidate 65 win team and probably battling the Celtics for the top seed.

When the Magic win the title, all this over-paid crap disappears.

Without Hedo this team would be a 6th seed or worse. Theres no sense in talking about Rashard doing more if Hedo did less. Stan does what is most efficient for the team and Hedo doing what he does has been more efficient.

They (players) are all overpaid.
Basketball is driven by three principles:

1) Movement 2) Application of fundamentals 3) Predictability

Say what you want, but I made an accurate statement. I could only wonder what this team would have looked like with a Nelson/Hedo/Rashard/Battie/Howard lineup.
