Hi guys. First and foremost, congratulations on the 52 win season and best of luck for the first round match-up against my beloved Raptors. I look forward to a good series and some high scoring games from Howard and Bosh as it seems their rivalry/friendship brings the best game out in each of them.

My question is this: Which of Toronto's scrubs do you fear going off for points that could change the outcome of a game?

We did a poll on our board and I believe we feared Bogans more than any other bench player.

I was going to say Juan Dixon, but I guess you guys got rid of him. He is a magic killer. Probably should have kept him.

But I guess Delfino. Chuckers always crush the Magic.

Edit: And Bogans? Really? I'd probably be more scared of Dooling, or even Arroyo.

Delfino and Kapono are the real bench threats for the Magic...after watching all of these Raptor games in the last 3 days, it is clear that when Delfino and Kapono arent hitting open 3's, the Raptors have a much lower chance of winning games...

Actually I referred to Bogans as a "bench player"... Is he now a starter?

^^ He's probably being sarcastic. Bogans is definitely a scrub, just one that can get hot once in a while from 3. He'll have one good game at best.

Ok. The reason we picked him is because it seems he always goes off on us - we have piss-poor perimeter defence and he always seems to be left wide open.

yea i was being sarcastic..a little advise...leave bogans wiiiide open, he will not make them, but if you guard him, he seems to usually make em...

then I say you guys are being smart, you'll find out as the series begins, you guys are gonna have to pick your poison. Who would you rather leave wide open, Lewis, Turk, Nelson, Evans, or Bogans? How about don't double Howard and check all the perimeter guys? Lot's of tough choices coming at ya

Rasho's scrubalicious man-to-man defense becoming good all of a sudden...

I'm a Raps fan and I don't agree with Bogans scaring us, it's Keyon Dooling that concerns me. I can see him getting a lot of minutes behind Nelson, he can light you up for stretches.

I love these shooting stats:

3-point % for the season

Nelson - .416 (154 attempts)
Lewis - .409 (553 attempts)
Turkoglu - .400 (415 attempts)
Evans - .396 (202 attempts)
Bogans - .362 (409 attempts)

But it gets better:

3-point % since the All-Star break

Nelson - .523 (65 attempts)
Lewis - .451 (184 attempts)
Turkoglu - .435 (124 attempts)
Evans - .416 (101 attempts)
Bogans - .378 (119 attempts)


That's five guys who are legit threats to light Toronto up from downtown if they don't defend the three point line. And it doesn't even include Arroyo or Dooling, who are solid outside shooters but don't take that many, or Redick or Cook, who are both unlikely to play in the series but if they do get on the floor, can torch the Raps.

Id be more afraid of Shawty Lo Aka Keyon Dooling.. But for me its gotta be Kapono, Ive seen that guy come off the bench an jus light it the **** up..

As to the OP, its your pg's that we have to fear the most. The combo of Jose and TJ is going to be tough for us to match up with. Dooling's defense in reserve will be our biggest X factor in the series. But, Kapono is probably the bench player that has the most likelihood of going off the most.

The funny thing is, the greatest 3 point shooter ever doesn't even take 3 pointers.
