1. this is hedo's first player of the "month" award.
2. he has previously been awarded the player of the "week" award (twice).
3. unfortunately, this award means that the mip is going somewhere else.
4. much like the two previous awards having meant that he was going to get snubbed for the all-star game.

Yeah i agree...I think this is a consolation prize
They did this when he got snubbed for the all-star game

If it will be happen again maybe they can create a new award like MSP (Most Snubbed Player) and give him.
