i was watching the celtics hawks game tonight...and i notice the big 3 for the celtics have taken a slight drop in their stats compared to their career averages. obviously as a superstar playing with 2 other superstars you are not going to have to score as much, but i was wondering what if dwight howard played alongside with the big three ...what he would average? would it be a lot less??? like...15ppg 13rpg?

the big 3, dwight, hedo, shard..........i dont think he would have a big cut in production because he doesnt demand the ball as much...with a player like kg the rebounds might be down, but points would be in the same area..

I guess we saw it with Shaq, once Horace arrived his rebounds dropped considerably... I honestly hope Drights never do... but... if it was for the good of the team I'd rather Dwight + our powerforward got 12 and 10rpg rather than the current 14 and 5.

Scoring however... well I don't know, this team has more offensive firepower now than at any point in Dwights career and his numbers have gone up.

I would think tempo would have to do with this as well. A "big 3" on an up-tempo team would have more offensive possesions, whereas, a half court team would have less. I think the Magic look to run and for early shots, so there is room for 3 big scorers.

alright. i was just asking becuase dwight doesnt seem like the type of player that his stats would have a significant drop whether being the 1st option or the 3rd option...am i right?
