OT- I'm brining this to game 5...
Now I know we deserved to lose game 3 and I'm not blaming the officiating on the game. However, Bosh continuously flops and it's getting ridiculous. I have lost all my respect for him because he constantly whines on the other end when he doesn't get the call. The worst was when he got pissed that he didn't get the call so he runs into Dwight and gets an offensive foul called on Dwight. Bosh complains about Steven A Smith calling him Manute Bol, but yet continues to play like a complete wuss. He doesn't need to do that because he's a great player with great skills. However, he has left me no choice. This is what I will bring to game 5 with me....

Well the raptors fans chant superman sucks when he goes to the line...which doesn't make any sense. I was thinking we could yell p*ssy every time Bosh gets to the line on a flop, which actually makes sense, but I don't wanna hurt the young kid's ears.
We could chant "Manute Bol", but I have too much respect for Mr. Bol as well.

flopping is apart of the game and something smaller players take advantage of.. don't whine about it.. its just a tactic its the same thing as battling for position for a rebound which howard does alot and pretty hard i.e. on bargnanis T... btw im not a raptor fan just going around boards for playoffs chatting

It's been debated to ad nauseum. There;s a difference when you use your strength to your advantage and you're in the paint battling. It's another thing when you are doing the complete opposite and getting bailed out by the ref. I know Dwight does get away with spreading the elbows out every now and then, but at least he's in the paint battling.

Great idea, expect that 90% of people around you won't be able to read it, and will assume you're just waving/wearing a Raptors jersey. Good one!

True, it's not battling out, it's boxing out and is completely legal, though I will say Dwight goes get away with 3 seconds and elbows every now and then. But that is still part of the game, flopping is not.
I don't particularly like Bosh's constant flopping around the arena, but I do think he's a great talent and hence I respect him.
However, I do not understand why punishing someone in the paint like Dwight does is regarded as "better" than the flopping Chris does.
It's been said flopping wasn't thought about 'originally' in the game. Yeah, well, neither was dunking. Dwight without dunking < Bosh without flopping.
If it works continue to use it; whatever it is. In Dwight's case, he gets away with 3 second calls constantly, Shaq constantly got out of charging calls in the past (as did Barkley, etc), and Bosh is effective at portraying a wuss. To each his own. You just sound like a big baby if you want to cry about Bosh flops working. I'm sure Toronto fans moan about how Dwight can practically sit under the basket for 24 seconds without getting a 3 in the key called on him.

Well it's unusual to have a 6'10 guy in bosh who is so skinny and flops around so much. That's what makes this situation so weird. Nowitzki is sorta similar to bosh in the way they flop and put their bodies in weird positions to get fouls, but not a lot of those in the NBA. In history, it's been acceptable for the big guy to get away with being more physical but that's just the nature of the game... the big guy weighs more and doesn't fall back when someone sneezes unlike Bosh.
Maybe we should have jameer nelson cover bosh because when Bosh moves his head back as if he got hit by an elbow, it would be impossible for someone of jameer's height to have done that.

Well, I'm glad your stereotyping is in full effect tf2k5.
Maybe Bosh will stop what is obviously working for him just to please people like you.
By the way, Bosh is probably already a more refined offensive force than Dwight will ever be able to become because he clearly relies on his handicap of dominating force.
That's not to say Bosh is better or will ever be better, but don't disrespect Bosh because he exploits something many other great players are currently exploiting too. If the stereotype still existed that brute force dunking was looked down upon, Dwight would be a lousy player.
If we need anyone to stop flopping it's Manu Ginobili.
P.S. Bosh's flopping annoys the crap out of me too, but hell, it works for him a lot, I'm pretty sure he could beat your ass if he wanted, so don't be an arm chair critic about how tough he is or isn't.

Are you kidding me? Have you ever played this game? Taking a charge is a tactic and part of the game like fighting for position....NOT flopping. Taking a legitimate charge and flopping are two completely different things.
