Should we lock the slantinel writers in a woodshed...?

At least for the playoffs???

Maybe duck tape their mouths shut, hobble them like in misery, but on their fingers so they can't write anymore or at least with out great determination and thought???

I see on Realgm that turk is named MIP, and go to the sentinel to read about it... What do I see? Bianchi, Schmitz and Whitley writing pieces on how the Magic either won't win or have to win this game because if not they will lose the series?!!!! :banghead:

What are these guys problem with the BEST and ONLY real sports club we have in this city..? It's like their still bitter about the Shaq thing when almost everybody has gotten over it but them.

Regardless of their motives somebody needs to stop these guys... It's like they revel in the magic losing and try and jinx them every time that they get the chance. Now, I'm not the superstitious type... But I still seem no reason to poke the proverbial bear in this case. There is no reason IMO to get our players nervous or doubing themselves when they come HOME to play! This is worse than the Raps fans shouting "HOWARD" while at the free throw line! and this is coming from our own sportswriters?!

Maybe I could understand this of we were on the losing side of this 3-1 record, but we are not and it just shouldn't be happening....

But what can you do but dream... of hurting them?

The O-Sen will absolutely have a major story tomorrow morn on Turkoglu!

... and if the gods favor, on the Magic as victors in a playoff series for the first time in twelve.

Well, even if we win I suspect that most of the things written will be how long it's taken the magic to get a playoff win. I'm sure it will be tounge in cheek type criticsm, but I'm just sick of hearing it from them personally.

The Slantinels coverage moved the Magic to pre release most new information to Denton 1st. It's why Florida today has so much better coverage than them.

The answer is.... I don't care what all the OTHER writers may be saying, but the Orlando writers should not be as negative or ignorant of what's happening down here. :wavefinger:

Yeah, that's fantastic that the Magic stuck it to the slantinel, and makes it easier to understand why they take so many shots at the Magic, but it should never have gotten that far. The Sentinel should have fired these guys a loooong time ago IMO

because the media influences the general public. The non-hardcore fans. The people that look at the newspaper in the morning and go, "Oh the Magic lost/won last night, that's terrible/awesome." They take their input and value it and it influences how much they get excited for the team. Local media should SUPPORT their teams. The Magic promote the Sentinel enough that the Sentinel could at least hire some staff to provide support for them in return, instead of the constant terrible coverage.

90% certain that we will see Bianchi gush over us and pull out his rally towel to get the city behind our boys.

Today's O-Sen is nothing but love for the Orlando Magic from Schmitz, Povtak, Whitley, and Bianchi.

All writers chipped in with their believable disbelief.

Word. A bunch of lawyers got wind of my situation and have been trying to get me and my parents to wrap up tallahassee probation office and the jail in litigation. Would prolly do more harm than good and cause another huge headache so we are leaning against it and trying to put this whole situation behind us. I just feel bad for my parents because they spent 700+ bucks trying to straighten this whole thing out.

they should compensate for their mistakes. They would expect us to.

on a lighter note, the sentinel doesnt care about the news, it cares about selling papers and controversy does that.
