quick recap...

- playing Pistons last year was a great lesson for the team. They learned a lot from that series.

- he wants to be the general to help lead our team and control the tempo. He wants everything on his shoulders.

- giving props to Dre Miller and Chauncey and he knows he'll have his hands full next round. He plans to use his quickness to help him out.

- giving props to Delonte West for his GW shot in Washington during game 4

- Dwight is not a freak...he's a MACHINE

interview over.

I don't mind him controlling the tempo, but I don't want the game on his shoulders.

Games 4 and 5 were won because he took over, Games 1 and 2 were won because he outplayed his competition. I am cool with the game being on his shoulders if this play persists...

I don't want everything on his shoulders either, but I like the fact that he has the cojones to take big shots when they come to him.

we always say all this team needs is a good pg... well if jameer can provide that during the playoffs more power to him.... its nice to see him with his confidence back... hes shooting the lights out right now... if jameer can offset billups or millers affect on the game it could be big for us because we are so much stronger in the paint than either team... hopefully he leads us to ecf...

Nelson is the MAN! Very underrated all year by his own fans and the media. It always bugged me reading places where they'd say he was our teams weak link. Have they seen who starts at shooting guard for us?

Didn't get a chance to look for it, but according the the time stamp on Nyce's post, it's probably near the end of Hour 2.

he was actually interviewed on another show earlier on Tirico and Van Pelt I believe, i was listening to it live but got pulled away...

i did listen to the rome interview, pretty good...but i think the other one was longer and they had some good questions to start off with...

EDIT: found it Tirico & Van Pelt - Jameer Nelson - 5-1-08
