OT: Hawks' coach upset about ROY

Mike Woodson was irate about Al Horford not winning the ROY, or at least sharing the award with Durrant. I though it was an interesting reading, or at least entertaining...
"We haven't had a power forward/center come in our league and do what he's done [average a double-double] in I don't know how many years," Woodson said. "I mean, come on, man."
Didn't Dwight average a double-double his rookie year and lost the award to Emeka?

Horford had a nice year, but Durant was better and had little to work with.

Yeah but Horford should get a special badass award, his feud with Pierce is just classic. I'd love for Dwight to have such an attitude

lol, seriously. Two rookies a couple of years ago came into the league TOGETHER and did it. Whoops.

People gotta stop saying he averaged a double double. He fell 25 rebounds short -- that's not just a couple of them.

I don't know if this is a dumb question but are you talking about Horford or Dwight?

Horford actually only averaged like 9.7 rebounds a game. They are just rounding up to say he averaged a double-double.
Dwight actually averaged 10+ rebounds a game. He had 823 rebounds for 82 games.

Yeah, I was talking about Horford (he had 785 for the season, needed 810 in the 81 games he played).
Dwight had 3 to spare LOL.

You can't do that to T.J. Ford and get away with it.

Wow, not only does he not remember Okafor and Dwight but his own player didn't even accomplish what he said. Fire this dumb bitch.

Woodson is a joke of a coach. If he gets to keep his job it be the best thing to happen for the Magic. They will never be a consistent team with him running the show.

Nothing against Horford but most of what he did was play more than some past or present rookies. Milsap last year was just as good. Noah and Landry were equal or more productive when they played. He talking about how amazing it is that he almost averaged a double double. Last year his own player Shelden Williams in his 31 starts was not to far from averaging a double double.
