ORL vs DET = ORL vs RAPS

It appears that we have history repeating itself and a roll reversal of sorts.

ORL vs RAPS
Game 1 ORL blows out RAPS
Game 2 ORL wins close one over Raps possibly due to a close call or two.
Game 3 RAPS cruise to an easy win at home

DET vs ORL
Game 1 DET blows out ORL
Game 2 DET wins close one over ORL possibly due to a close call or two.
Game 3 ORL cruises to an easy WIN ?????

For all the optimists, if we take game three .... remember how concerned we were when TORANTO took game three? Lets put some pressure on DETROIT and take care of business at home.

The difference may be that we dont have a Jamario Moon to add to the mix like the RAPS. Do we? Thoughts?

Series isn't over yet. It's just that Detriot is a terrible matchup for Orlando. I don't like that their down 0-2. I thought they needed to win 2 games in Detriot to win the series. I still do.

I'm rooting for history to repeat itself and we have a good showing in Orlando. Game 3 goes to Orlando and we hold serve.

I am wondering if we do any changes in the line up. Nelson is on the wrong end of a mismatch but he was a large reason for our comeback last night and is shooting well. I might consider putting some athleticism and quickness (Dooling) on Rip.

If Billups is slowed at all, this is a totally different series than games one and two.

I'd start Dooling over Evans.

Well, I hope this is where the similarities stop.

Amen!

If Billups is out for a while or will be slowed down, it's no longer that similar already though.

yea i noticed that midway through the 1st quarter last night. I was astonished at how similar the series was. But yea, let's hope the Magic come out with the same fire and intensity on Saturday and take Game 4 and send this back to Detroit tied up at 2-2.

Similarities officially end now! MAGIC take game 4 and Detroit enters the "new coach" lotto.

:rocking:

No no, and no.

Dooling is a shooting guard who thinks he's a point guard and is what Charles Barkley refers to as a "ball stopper." He's a ballhog, albeit sometimes a successful one. Last night, we got out to a big lead because of our transition offense and our passing. Dooling can hit a shot here and there and can slash, but he does not fit in to the starting five's type of play.
