Game 3: Orlando vs. Detroit

Who: Orlando Magic(0-2) vs. Detroit Pistons(2-0)
When: Wednesday, May 7th
Where: Amway Arena in Orlando, FL
Time: 7:00 PM EST
TV/Radio: TNT/580 AM
Playoff series: Detroit leads 2-0

The Lowdown

The Magic are down 0-2 in this series vs. the well experienced Pistons team. The last matchup featured the Billups contraversal three pointer that the NBA admits shouldn't have counted. The Magic coughed up the ball 19 times in the last game despite the final score being better than game 1's final score. Now that the series has switch to Orlando. It's time for the Magic to bring the noise and their "A" game to boot. If they expect to compete in this series. They have to do the following.

Magic Tricks

1. Stop coughing up the ball in the passing lanes.
2. Play better defense and avoid trading baskets with the Pistons.
3. The Magic offense has to be fluid in all four quarters.

Pistons almost always loose game 3 on the road when being up 2-0.

The lone exception being last year at Orlando.

My guess...

Orlando 98
Detroit 89

we win by 20 or bust... if we dont win by more than 20 then this game is a failure and we deserve to be beaten game 4 and 5.

Obviously, this is a must win game, we gotta take it one game a time and try to tie up this series. We know detriot is a veteran ball club and they wont be phased by the early run by the magic to start the game like the raptors were. They will take the early punches and then try to settle the game down and make it a halfcourt game and limit the running opportunities for the magic. I think billups will be more in the post in this game trying to slow the game down and control the tempo.

Let's just take it one game at a time and see what happens, but i just wanna say, the pistons have no fear of our homecourt, they swept us last year and they are coming in with confidence that they can come here and do it again.

lets gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Dwight Howard on his FT struggles:

"I just think everybody needs to stop talking about it," Howard said. "There's more to life than free throws."

Take care of the ball and score at least 1 more than the Pissed-ons.

Well said. We will start with a lot of fire and jump into a lead. Sustaining that lead is going to be key.
The past two games it seemed every time Hedo had the ball the game would die and it would stop moving. and Rashard has to wipe the butter of his fingers. We need solid passes. Dwight has to take a step forward when recieving passes instead of standing his ground. It makes it easy for defenders to tap the ball away from him. Continue to penetrate( You hear me Hedo)
We must win this and we will.

Any update on Cook? I thought he was possibly coming back in the middle of this series. I guess it's not quite the middle yet, considering we are going to win in 7. He better be back game 4!

I think I heard it mentioned he might not be back this series at all.
