as many of u i really like what he brings to this team.
i'm really surprise that we didn t use him moore against detroit (he does the best against billups).

i don t think he is happy with the minutes he is getting and i think it ll be REALLY hard to keep him this summer.

as u know i d love to get critterion here but if we can t resign dooling i think we HAVE to get duhon

I don't exactly the quote, but I remember where it had Dooling talking about the team and next year with Orlando and stuff. I believe he's happy with his role on this team.

oh ya, from the sentinel....

http://www.orlandosentinel.com/sports/b ... 7866.story

"They (Pistons) are where we want to be, a team that has dominated the Eastern Conference for years,'' said guard Keyon Dooling. "What better way to get to the top than to go though them?''

so there you have it.... he wants to dominate the eastern conference with the magic for years

Dooling is a perfect bench guy. He's lick a change-up pitch at either the 1 or the 2. AND he is a good emergency starter.

That said, Nelson brought his A game in the first four minutes running rings around Billups. Then, after Billups went down, keeping the momentum meant more Nelson. That's quite alright for one game; Dooling will have important uses in the future.

Let us also not forget that Dooling was the highest scorer off the bench. So even in limited minutes, he contributed.

As for after the playoffs, if the Magic offer to match any salary offer Dooling gets, he re-inks. Firstly, a Florida salary is more than in other states. Also, the Magic might win the title next year. He will want to be a part of that, even off of the bench.

Dooling has been great. He has been the life injector in this team when things dont go well. His explosiveness is tremendous. We must use him more though he is shoot first pg we need someone to come in and show other how to attack the basket.
I really want him back next year and let Carlos walk.

Dooling definitely has his uses, but he would not be irreplaceable. In fact I would love to see Redick get his min. That is probably just crazy talk though. If we can keep Dooling than we should. With him hitting his jumper this year his value is higher than ever. Just look at his Per; it is like 3 points higher than ever before.

Dooling is awesome. I was pissed when SVG played Carlos over him. He is playing fantastic.

Not to mention his recent propensity to get dead ball fouls and get called for stupid fouls.

He's very much a love/hate player for me.

Thing about Dooling is that he's not a PG. He plays the position largely because of Arroyo's ineffectiveness especially on the defensive end, but he's not one.

He's not much of a shooting guard either.

He is not your prototypical PG, and Jameer isnt either, but I would definitely say that Dooling is capable of playing that position.

Keyon is playing one hell of a game right now. He is driving the lane really well and his jumpshot is vastly improved all the way out to the 3.

Things I love about Dooling are his versatility, energy and passion. I would be very upset if we did not resign him, but Im pretty sure he will be back.

oh, and for those mathmeticians out there

Dooling>>>>>Duhon

Right, because of his shot. He's a combo guard, and I'm really torn as to what they should do with him over the summer.

I'm probably Dooling's biggest fan. I've always loved the guy since he arrived here.

He's really improved his jumpshot, and he plays with as much heart and passion as anyone on the team. Plus, he's really good at getting to the hoop, and is effective from the FT line.

We need to resign him.

You also have the Miami areas newspapers saying that Doolings family would love if Dooling signed with the Heat bringing the family back together. Dooling still owns his home down there in that area. Dooling did not deny that he wouldn't be interested if the Heat came calling.

Maybe it's just Dooling playing both sides so he will get a lot more money then the Magic planned to pay him in the first place or he really is interested in getting back with the Heat.

doolings minutes might be down, but he is playing with a bum knee the last 2 games..thats why arroyo played a few minutes in game 2-3

You need his gritty defense and his fearless offense, for sure. He is worth, IMO, a max of 4.5 mil. I like what he brings when Hedo mans the point. That being said, I would like to see JJ grow into that role. He has, I feel, handles and pg skills on level with Dooling. What he lacks in Dooling's gritty D he makes up for in sheer shooting goodness. I also think he is the best at feeding the ball to Dwight, though I have seen very little of those two playing together.

Yeah, i've been in dooling's corner for a long while now. I just love his attitude, and the fire that he brings to the team.

I'd be willing to sign him for 4/15-25

with chauncey not being anywhere near 100%, and dooling smothering him, does anyone else think that billups won't be that big of a factor in the games to come???

also, does anyone else think the injury to him is karma for what happened in game 2, i know it wasn't his fault they counted it, but him goin down meant us winning
