That Detroit announcer today on the Ackerman show was all but scoffed at the notion that Detroit feels they are in anything but control of this series so far (he's right to an extent...history and 2-1 adv). However him saying that they had a chance in last night's game because they were down 3 in the third without their guy Chauncey amused me a little. Did he forget how the Magic were, by and large, cheated so badly in the last game up there? It should be 2-1 Magic. Magic in control. The Magic have played even with the Pistons so far, over the course of the first three games...at the very least. He said that the Magic haven't figured out what to do with Detroit. After being outplayed at home against the fellows in #2 and demolished in Orlando, who hasn't figured out whom?

The series stands as it should at this point.
Game 1, blowout Detroit.
Game 2, competitive, Detroit finished better. 19 T/O's.
Game 3, blowout Magic. I think the Magic would have won substantially even had Billups stayed on.
Game 4, probably competitive......as is the rest of the series. With or without Billups.

ok...he's working in detroit...do you really expect him to say yeah, the magic are amazing, they're beating our ass even though we're up 2-1?

mmmm....not especially. Guokas, Marchetelli (sp) and even the "only now partially incompetent" Dennis Neumann would definitely be more realistic. Hence my citing.
