They still need to blow up that roster and start from scratch. Dantoni is not going to make Randolph be unselfish or stop Curry from eating burgers.

If they are going to use his style Randolph and Curry won't be on that team. They are 2 of the top 5 laziest players in the NBA.
Maybe Q will revive his career?

Yeah, Richardson is probably on cloud nine right now. Of course, he doesn't have Steve Nash feeding him the ball or Amare drawing attention away from him or Marion taking on the tougher defensive assignments.

so they have about 2 or maybe 3 guys tops that fit his system...what are they going to do with all that dead weight?

Well, I don't know. These two have no interest in playing defense... Might fit right in with D'Antoni.

LOL...that part is so true.
I see them totally revamping this roster over the next 2 years. I'm sure there aren't very high immediate expectations for success. I think the New York fans would be happy at this point just to see a good team making some good moves for the near future. It's either that or they get extremely active on the trade market over the summer just to eliminate salaries.

Anyone remember what his relationship was like with Marbury during that half a season they were together in Phoenix? I know they weren't very good as a team...

Remember that D'Antoni doesn't go more than 7 deep most of the time anyway. Robinson and Crawford in the backcourt, Q and Lee at forwards, and maybe Micheal Beasley at center with Balkman and a free agent off the bench sounds about right. Plus Marbury expires next year so thats a big trade chip.

Good luck.
He might not want to invest in a home there.
I don't think he lasts more than a couple of years.
NY will eat him alive. He's a nice guy, but there are better jobs.

If I am a New York fan I'm feeling pretty good right now.

With the squad they have, feeling good will never be an option, no matter who coaches that team. Blowing up that squad is going to be as tough as us trading Rashard Lewis, IMO much tougher. Good luck to them lol for the next couple years lol.

the knicks finally kept a draft puck and this year it will serve them well. I'd they can get that pg from Memphis they will be set IMO. They should at least be entertaining to watch
