He was either blowing by the guy or getting hacked.....bad coaching on floor and on bench in my opinion

Hedo has established himself as the guy that steps up for the Magic and wins games. Compared to Hedo Shard rarely does. Given that Hedo was the one with the hot hand even giving the team a shot I don't see how anyone can argue this was on Stan.

The Magic were down seven and Hedo alone put the Magic in a position to win the game. Yes he missed the game winner. But he hit the three shots that got the Magic into said position.

It's so easy to talk afterwards, isn't it.

Based on game 3 performance, I wish Lewis would have been more assertive during game 4.

But when we have no ball movement, it's harder for him to get involved. But that's no excuse, we need him to be aggressive.

Each game now is a win or go golfing/fishing game - let's see if steps up his game. He set the bar high for himself in Game 3. Not that we need a 30 point each game - just low to mid 20s, with 6+ rebs.

Well I have an issue with our last shots. I saw that play coming before Hedo even received the ball. If we know who is going to take our last shot and how, I think every other team anc coaches do too. I think that was a very predictable play. Three players swarmed Hedo at the basket while Dwight was left wide open. As the whole world knows our last play, why not Hedo throw the ball up at the rim and a guarenteed slam dunk for Dwight, he was all open with not one single person on him. All Hedo had to do was throw the ball up anywhere near the rim and that would be it.
Hedo did excelent in the 4th quarter with 14points or so, but the last shot has to be much more creative that drive to the left all the way and shoot.

the problem i had with that play is, there wasnt one person that didnt know what was going to happen..spread hedo out and let him drive..i cant recall how many times we have run that play..the pistons knew, they waiting and collapsed the lane...we gotta be more creative..

Even if Stan admitted himself that he was to blame for it?

I agree with another post that it was way too predictable. It was a poorly drawn up play. I'm not complaining because most of us here know that we have a lot of growth left before this team is to compete for a championship. I like our season though, and can see we are on the path to greatness. We just have a little more tinkering to do. Shard is still deferring too much trying to be a good teammate. The focus next year should be put more in his lap, and then we will go forward making the necessary strides.

Stan does that routinely. I suppose you could look at it either way. Its routine to go with the hot hand but you don't always want to be predictable. I still don't mind that play. He beat his defender and I thought that it was going to work until I saw it clang off of the back iron. He also might have thought with dwight there it gave us two shots at the basket with Dwight there to clean up. I thought that might have happened too but then I realized the ball went over the rim and to the other side.

You guys are focusing too much on the last play. The OP didn't state the last possession. He was likely referring to $hard's game 3 performance, and how we went away from that.

Ra$hard needs another performance like that to help us stave off elimination, as the Pistons will be coming out trying to put us away.
