OT- I chilled with Lewis and Nelson at the RDV
So, as some of you may know, I saw Hedo Turkoglu in the cold plunge last December at the RDV, and this time I'm coming out of the steam room and who do I see, Jameer Nelson afraid of the cold water, and then I look inside the cold plunge and I see Rashard Lewis and some old guy. Forget the old guy, he's not important to the story. So I went in the hot tub next to the cold plunge because there was no room left in the cold plunge.
Once the old guy got out of the cold plunge, I jumped at my opportunity. Basically Nelson was talking to Lewis about the guarantee he made about game 5 and saying how it was sorta misconstrued, but he didn't seem to deny it. He also said that Hamilton gets away with a lot and that he was a little disappointed he didn't start the fourth quarter of last game because his shot felt good. (I was too when Van Gundy started Dooling in the fourth.)
Lewis is a very laid back guy. I told him how Ratliff's comments were ridiculous and he agreed obviously. He also asked if the Spurs played tonight. It's funny how the NBA players don't follow the games as closely as we fans do. Also, both of the players obviously cared that they have lost close games and it does eat at them, but THEY DO NOT CARE TO THE LEVEL THAT WE FANS DO. They know they will still get paid at the end of the day.
But seriously, if you guys want to meet the magic players, get a membership to the RDV, go into the locker room around 12:30-1 ish on an off day and you are guaranteed to see a player after their practices icing up in the cold plunge.

Hey, you gotta sacrifice a little bit. After a while you don't even notice when a naked guy walks by. You become desensitized to it.

I'm not good around naked dudes. I struggle to handle the restroom/changing room at Wet N Wild. Yikes.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.
- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

Rasheed Wallace was so upset after a regular season loss to Boston this year, they he just left after the game... Walked out of the palace lockerroom in his uniform didn't bother to shower or change. This was in Feb.
