I am Ironman. haha, well its gonna be a long off-season so maybe we can make a ongoin superhero comic book movie thread to hold all these movies. I dunno what it is, maybe b/c i have always wanted to see these comics live action, but this movie was great. From start to finish, good story, nice action, hot chicks and cars, funny one liners, just a good movie. They even give you a preview at the end, there might be an AVENGERS movie! If you see the movie stay till the very end of the credits, you won't be disapointed. So far the best 3 superhero movies have been Spider-man, Batman begins, and Xmen2, but this was right up there. it wasn't stupid like ghostrider and hulk, or daredevil (which i was really sad with b/c i liked the man without fear, just not ben affleck playin him). so yea, if you like these type of movies, go see ironman, i might go a second time. very good movie.

Hey, you know what , I don't think an official summer movie thread is bad idea if the mods approve. Why not, it's the offseason and would keep us talking. I know it's off topic but so what?? Pedro, I liked Iron Man too, a lot more than I expected. I liked Downey in the role. I loved when Tony Stark was at the party towards the middle of the film and some chick says, "Hey Tony, remember me?" and he says "absolutely not" HAHA. Can't wait for The Dark Knight...Christopher Nolan is my favorite director.

IMO Iron Man has been the best superhero made so far, for all of the reasons that you stated. As for the Avengers movie it is suppose to be the third installment of the Iron Man franchise since the second movie of the trilogies are the high points (ie: X-Men 2 and Spider-Man 2).

I'll politely disagree Magic. Batman Begins and the Dark Knight will be better films than Iron Man, quality wise. But Iron Man is rocked. Even the Dude was good as the bad guy.

The Dark Knight is going to be a great film no doubt. Most critics who've seen the rough cut say it's leaps and bounds better than Batman Begins was, and Batman Begins is thought of very well with both movie fans and critics, so I expect the Dark Knight to kick a lot of ass, plus Christian Bale doesn't make bad movies that often.

Superman > everyone else

But Batman and Spider-Man aren't far behind. My opinion, of course.

I haven't got a chance to see Iron Man, yet. But I'll tell what I really want to see: Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and The Dark Knight.

Bale is a great actor. I didn't know this, but he never uses the same accent in two movies (though i'm guessing he brakes that mold with Batman since it's the same franchise). Hopefully his great movies continue with the Terminator series (he just signed on for all 3 of them, i think previously he was just signed for the first one).

Imagine if he continues the Batman series and the Terminator series. He'll have a blockbuster every summer, lol.

The Dark Knight is going to be AMAZING. Can't wait. I've been stoked about this ever since I saw the first picture of Heath as the Joker.
