If things played out the right way and we had a choice...Which would you rather have as our starting PG

If you are just talking hypothetically one or the other, I will take Calderon.

But, to get Calderon it will take more than just Jameer. It would likely take Turk. I would rather keep Jameer than move Turk in a deal to get Calderon. Even if we moved Jameer for a solid player, we would still lose all our chemistry and also be losing our team captain.

Orlando has bigger needs than PG.

I'll need more than a few playoff games to see Nelson as a legit NBA starter. Calderon is a far superior playmaker, but is also too pricey for the Magic.

Plus, we already have another Calderon thread + poll

The grass is greener on the other side.

However, I chose Calderon simply because he's a better PG.

Better PG yes. But does better PG in this perticular case get us past Detriot?

I'm all for improvement but sometimes you can be just as good or better with the same peices in place. Jason Kidd was the better PG and they couldn't beat New Orleans.

Calderon seems like he would cause chemistry problems with our club. His attitude rubs me the wrong way.

Nelson helps chemistry and isn't as bad as people make him out to be.

Nelson is my pick.

I wouldn't be able to stand Calderon. If I see his gay 3pt celebration one more time I might hurt somebody. Pretty much, I hate everything about that guy(other than his game, of course). So with that said, give me Nelson.

I know Calderon is a better pure point guard and although Jameer is shorter...I see Jameer as a tougher guy who's not afraid to attack the basket. At first I thought we should have traded nelson but I'm beginning to like what i see...

Let the Heat have Calderon

I feel that this discussion about Nelson is going to be going on as long as he is playing pg for the Magic.
